Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have some college or technical training, completed college or technical training.

Experience: at least five years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Aircraft Mechanic Trade Certification, AME «M» Licence - Aircraft, AME «S» Licence - Structures, CAMC Aviation Maintenance Technician Registered Certification.

Main Responsibility: Technician

Mechanical Maintenance Experience: Aircraft maintenance - general

Structural Repair Experience: Aircraft structures - general

Work Setting / Industry Experience: Military aviation

Aircraft Mechanic Skills: Diagnostically troubleshoot aircraft defects and carry out corrective action, Complete records of work done and sustain an accurate record system

Aircraft Inspector Skills: Certify that aircraft systems meet Transport Canada and company standards, Inspect work of aircraft mechanics to ensure adherence to standards, Maintain repair, inspection and certification records and reports

Computer Systems: Data acquisition systems, Data analysis systems

Security and Safety: Bondable, Basic security clearance, Criminal record check

Essential Skills: Writing, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Finding information, Computer use

Languages: Other than English, the applicant should write French.
