Shift work is involved. Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant. Education: The applicant should have completed high school, completed college or technical training. Experience: the best part of a year. Credentials required: The applicant should have First aid and CPR Certificate. Work Setting: Restaurant Supervisory Experience: Food and beverage servers, Kitchen and food service helpers, Cooks Specific Skills: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, Estimate and order ingredients and supplies, Ensure food service and quality control, Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, Prepare food order summaries for chef, Must have knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres, Supervise and check assembly of trays, Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys Additional Skills: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures Security and Safety: Basic security clearance Work Conditions and Physical Capabilites: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence Work Location Information: On-site customer service Ability to Supervise: 16-20 people Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Finding information, Computer use, Continuous learning Profile: for Wings in Abbotsford Feel right at home in our casual family dining meets upscale sports pub environment.
