Credentials required: The applicant should have Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, Building service worker course.

Work Setting: Factory or plant, Office building, Commercial building, Industrial facility

Specific Maintenance Activities: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax floors, Empty waste containers, Clean and disinfect washrooms and fixtures, Work with minimal supervision

Equipment Operated/Used: Industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers, Polishing machines

Security and Safety: Bondable, Criminal record check

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Bending, crouching, kneeling

Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Own vehicle

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Writing, Working with others, Problem solving, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Continuous learning

Other Information: The hours and days of this position are 6pm - 10pm, Tues, Wed, Fri. and available for fill in. This position is at one location. On call fill in work is also available at other locations.
