Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be $8.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have First Aid Certificate, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate.

Children’s Ages: Toddler to pre-school (1 - 3 years), Kindergarten age (4 - 5 years)

Work Setting: Employer’s home

Specific Skills: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home

Security and Safety: Criminal record check

Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available

Work Location Information: Work in employer’s/client’s home, Staff accommodation provided, Room and board provided

Essential Skills: Oral communication, Decision making, Job task planning and organizing, Finding information, Continuous learning
