Work Setting: Family clothing store, Hobby/crafts/novelty store Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Point of sale system, Electronic mail, Inventory control software, Basic computer skills (will train), General office equipment Staff Responsibility: 1 - 20 Specific Skills: Plan, direct and evaluate daily operations, Manage staff and assign duties, Determine merchandise and services to be sold, Perform cash deposits, Balance daily transactions, Determine staffing requirements, Recruit and train staff, Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages, Customer service oriented Security and Safety: Bondable Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation Ability to Supervise: 20 people or less, Staff in various areas of responsibility Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Finding information, Computer use, Continuous learning Other Information: Located in the heart of Whistler Village.
