Terms: This is a permanent, full time job

Salary: will be $9.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have First Aid Certificate.

Children’s Ages: Infant (3 months - 11 months), Toddler to pre-school (1 - 3 years), Kindergarten age (4 - 5 years)

Work Setting: Employer’s home

Specific Skills: Supervise and care for children, Bathe, dress and feed infants and children, Prepare infants and children for rest periods, Help children with homework, Organize, activities such as games and outings for children, Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, Read to children, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infants, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, Take children to and from school and to appointments

Security and Safety: Bondable

Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel regularly

Work Location Information: Work in employer’s/client’s home, Staff accommodation provided, Room and board provided, Willing to relocate

Essential Skills: Decision making, Job task planning and organizing
