Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be $25.00 to $33.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training.

Experience: is an asset.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Trade certification.

Type of Sales: Engineering, Manufacturing

Type of Sales Account: Local accounts, Regional accounts, National accounts

Customers/clients: Commercial establishments, Industry

Products/Services: Industrial machinery and equipment, Mining machinery/equipment, Manufacturing and industrial products, Steel

Specific Skills: Assess client’s needs and resources and recommend the appropriate goods or services, Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client’s needs, Resolve product and service related problems, Read and understand blueprints, Troubleshoot technical problems related to equipment

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Valid driver’s licence

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Finding information, Computer use, Continuous learning

Other Information: Knowledge of metallurgy, machining, ceramics, electronics and robotics would be an asset. Strong computer skills and knowledge of Solidworks or AutoCAD Inventor would be a definite asset.
