Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, some college or technical training.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have 3rd Period Apprentice.

Major Work Area: Renovation

Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Residential

Area of Specialization: General carpentry, Rough carpentry, Finish carpentry, Framing

Specific Skills: Determine specifications and calculate requirements, Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join mouldings, wood materials, drywall and plastics materials, Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware, Build walls and install partitions, Operate power tools

Additional Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications

Security and Safety: Bondable

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Site Environment: At heights, Confined spaces, Noisy, Dusty

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Valid driver’s licence

Work Location Information: Various locations
