Terms: This is a temporary, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be $15.75 per hour for a 37 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, completed college or technical training.

Experience: is an asset.

Credentials required: The applicant should have First Aid Certificate, Continuing care assistant certification.

Work Setting: Home for the aged

Specific Skills: Administer suppositories, colonic irrigations and enemas, Bathe, dress and groom patients, Answer call signals

Additional Skills: Make beds and maintain patients’ rooms

Security and Safety: Criminal record check

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation
