Credentials required: The applicant should have Canadian Welding Bureau Certification.

Welding Techniques: Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), Gas metal arc welding (GMAW) (MIG)

Welding Positions: All positions

Materials: Steel, iron and heavy metals

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Additional Skills: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes

Work Site Environment: Outdoors, At heights

Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel for extended periods
