Terms: This is a casual, full time job

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training.

Experience: is an asset.

Credentials required: The applicant should have First Aid Certificate.

Work Setting: Home for the aged, Nursing or convalescent home

Specific Skills: Lift, turn or massage patients, Supervise patients’ exercise routines, Bathe, dress and groom patients, Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher, Answer call signals

Additional Skills: Supply and empty bed pans, Serve meal trays and feed patients, Make beds and maintain patients’ rooms, Maintain inventory of supplies

Security and Safety: Criminal record check

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Bending, crouching, kneeling

Essential Skills: Document use, Oral communication, Working with others, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Finding information
