Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Shift work is involved. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be $17.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.
Notes: bonus, milage paid, and other benefits.

Education: The applicant should have some college or technical training.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have WHMIS (workplace hazardous material information system), Occupational Health and Safety Training Certificate (OHS).

Supervisory Experience: Specialized cleaners

Specific Skills: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards, Co-ordinate activities with other departments, Receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs, Assist cleaners in performing duties

Security and Safety: Criminal record check (abstract), Driver’s validity licence check, Driving record check (abstract)

Own Tools/Equipment: Safety equipment/gear, Steel-toed safety boots, Uniform

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilites: Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Shift work

Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Confined spaces, Wet/damp, Noisy, Odours, Dusty

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Finding information, Computer use, Continuous learning
