Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be $8.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, some college or technical training.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have First Aid Certificate.

Children’s Ages: School age (6 - 12 years)

Work Setting: Employer’s home

Specific Skills: Supervise and care for children, Bathe, dress and feed infants and children, Read to children, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, Take children to and from school and to appointments

Security and Safety: Basic security clearance, Criminal record check

Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel, Travel expenses paid by employer, Public transportation is available

Work Location Information: Work in employer’s/client’s home, Room and board provided

Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Decision making

Other Information: Ability to speak Tagalog is asset
