Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working weekends. Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be $15.00 to $16.50 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Cook Trade Certification, Food Safe Certificate.

Food Preparation Specializations: Bakery goods and desserts, Stocks, soups and sauces, Eggs and dairy, Cold kitchen (salads, appetizers, sandwiches), Cereals, grains and pulses, Vegetables, fruits, nuts and mushrooms, Hors d’oeuvres, Meat, Poultry, Pasta, Game, Fish, Seafood, Pizza

Types of Meals/Food Prepared: Breakfasts, Lunches, Dinners

Specific Skills: Prepare and cook full course meals, Prepare and cook individual dishes and foods, Work with minimal supervision, Inspect kitchens and food service areas, Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, Clean kitchen and work areas

Work Location Information: Staff accommodation provided, Room and board provided, Remote location
