Terms: This is a permanent, full time job

Salary: will be $8.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have First Aid Certificate, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate.

Children’s Ages: Toddler to pre-school (1 - 3 years), Kindergarten age (4 - 5 years)

Work Setting: Employer’s home

Specific Skills: Supervise and care for children, Bathe, dress and feed infants and children, Prepare infants and children for rest periods, Organize, activities such as games and outings for children, Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them, Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, Read to children, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents

Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available

Work Location Information: Work in employer’s/client’s home

Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Oral communication

Other Information: Canadian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply. $325.00 per month will be deducted for room and board.
