Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be $14.00 to $18.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have some college or technical training.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Provincial Licence / Certification to apply chemical fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides and pesticides.

Work Setting: Landscape maintenance

Type of Machinery or Equipment: Chain saw, Weed trimmer/edger, Sprayer or duster, Small engine equipment

Specific Skills: Weed, prune and trim trees and plants, Rake/ collect refuse, Cart and spread topsoil and other materials, Apply fertilizers

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling

Work Site Environment: Outdoors, At heights, Wet/damp

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence, Public transportation is available
