Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days and weekends.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Experience: two to three years’ experience.

Type of Equipment: Computerized woodworking machines, Gluing machines, Saws, Routers, Planers, Drills, Sanders

Specific Skills: Set up, program and operate one or more computerized or manual woodworking machines, Fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures and other wood products, Operate gluing machines to glue pieces or wood together or press and affix wood veneer to wood surfaces, Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions, Replace parts as necessary

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Standing for extended periods

Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing
