Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days and weekends. Some overtime will be available.

Specific Skills: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Loading and unloading of goods, Plan travel schedules and routes, Use atlases and other trip planning aids, Receive and relay information to central dispatcher, Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, Pay and receive payments for goods, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness, Perform preventive maintenance, Perform emergency roadside repairs

Additional Skills: Professionalism in customer service, Handle inquiries from customers

Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract), Drug test

Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat
