Terms: This is a temporary, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have completed university.

Experience: two to three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Provincial Teaching Certificate.

Area of Specialization: English as a second language (ESL)

Specific Skills: Prepare subject material for presentation according to an approved curriculum, Teach students through lectures, discussions, audio-visual presentations and laboratory, shop and field studies, Assign and correct homework, Participate in staff meetings, educational conferences and teacher training workshops

Security and Safety: Criminal record check

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Combination of sitting, standing, walking

Other Information: 1 full time position in South Surrey (5 days/wk, 9am-4pm). 3 week contract position. TESL or BC Cert required. Exp with Japanese high school students an asset.
