Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be $9.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have First Aid Certificate, Red Cross Babysitting course.

Children’s Ages: Toddler to pre-school (1 - 3 years)

Work Setting: Employer’s home

Specific Skills: Supervise and care for children, Bathe, dress and feed infants and children, Prepare infants and children for rest periods, Organize, activities such as games and outings for children, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infants, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, Take children to and from school and to appointments

Security and Safety: Bondable, Criminal record check, Child abuse registry check, Driver’s validity licence check

Transportation/Travel Information: Vehicle supplied by employer, Willing to travel, Valid driver’s licence, Travel expenses paid by employer

Work Location Information: Work in employer’s/client’s home, Room and board provided
