Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Type of Instrument Experience: Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical

Type of Industry Experience: Manufacturing, Chemical

Specific Skills: Inspect and test operation of instruments and systems, Repair and adjust system components, Remove and replace defective parts, Calibrate components and instruments, Determine testing and maintenance procedures, Install new measuring instruments

Additional Skills: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work, Logical approach for troubleshooting, Coach and instruct apprentices

Security and Safety: Criminal record check

Transportation/Travel Information: Vehicle supplied by employer, Valid driver’s licence, Willing to travel regularly, Travel expenses paid by employer, Parking paid by employer

Own Tools/Equipment: Safety equipment/gear, Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling
