Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.
Notes: bonus, and other benefits.
Also: medical, dental benefits.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Safe food handling certificate, Serving It Right Certificate.

Type of Bookkeeping and Accounting Experience: Record keeping, Cashiering

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Computerized bookkeeping systems, Cash register, Squirrel, Micros, Word processing software, Spreadsheet software, General office equipment

Ability to Supervise: More than 20 people, Staff in various areas of responsibility

Budgetary Responsibility: 0 - $100,000

Work Setting: Restaurant

Specific Skills: Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations, Implement operational procedures, Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, reconciliation and related forms, Control inventory, Respond to customer complaints, Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, Develop, implement and analyze budgets, Participate in marketing plans and implementation, Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance, Recruit and hire staff, Train staff, Conduct performance reviews, Supervise staff, Cost products and services, Customer service oriented

Work Site Environment: Non-smoking

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods
