Terms: This is a permanent, full time job

Salary: will be $21.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Driver’s licence.

Type of Farm Operations: Berry, Potato or vegetable

Type of Equipment: Vegetable or fruit harvester, Tractors, Seed drill, Fertilizer applicator, Crop sprayers or dusters, Irrigation systems

Specific Skills: Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers, Perform general farm duties, Supervise farm operations

Additional Skills: Develop work schedules and establish procedures, Maintain quality control and production records, Train workers

Security and Safety: Driver’s validity license check

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Large workload

Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Noisy

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence, Vehicle supplied by employer

Work Location Information: Remote location

Ability to Supervise: More than 20 people
