Terms: This is a temporary, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be $26.00 per hour for a 30 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed university.

Experience: two to three years’ experience.

Area of Counselling Experience: Academic program or credit evaluation, Assessment or testing, Co-operative education or work placement, Multicultural adjustment, Personal or life skills management, Study skills

Specific Skills: Counsel students regarding educational issues, Counsel students regarding personal and social issues, Consult with teachers, parents, administrators and community agencies, Co-ordinate the provision of counselling and information services to students, parents and teachers, Refer students to other specialized services when required, Participate in staff meetings, educational conferences and workshops

Additional Skills: Use computer applications
